Members Bryinjr Posted December 3, 2016 Members Report Posted December 3, 2016 This is a sheath for a 7" santoku style kitchen knife I made for my sister. The stamped secondary wrap encloses 2 large neodymium magnets on either side that serve to keep the knife in the sheath without additional hardware (snaps, etc) that could compromise the knife edge upon draw. Also, it hangs on the refrigerator ot steel kitchen surfaces for convenience during the cooking process. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Great job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
