Hello from Texas

Recommended Posts

Hi all, my name is Jonathan, a novice leather maker, circa August of 2016. I began learning the trade, while simultaneously endeavor Info a small leather business, Lineage Leather. One of my previous hobbies included carpentry, so the methods didn't and haven't been entirely too difficult to grasp (though there is so much to learn; it's exciting), but it has been an eventful journey in learning this amazing craft.

My mode of design is mainly modern, simple, though often fused with inspiration from everything I see and am in contact with, whether it's relics from WWll or my neighbor, my designs reflect experience.

Lineage Leather is also based on collaboration - my favorite aspect of business - in collaborating with clients, friends, and other artists in realizing a piece, a leather good, a relic of a shared creativity. Much of my work can be seen on our FB (Lineage Leather) or Instagram page (@lineageleather) - where I do most of my sales until I develop a proper site.

Im so happy to have found this site and connect with other leather craftsman. It such an incredible trade we share, and I'm excited to learn from each of you.

all my best for now,

Jonathan

I used to frame houses out that way, Colleyville, Southlake, HEB, and Grapevine. Cheers.
