Making a structured bag

Hello newbie here. Before I post my request I have to praise the depth and expertise of the members on this forum. I sincerely appreciate all your efforts.

Moving on to my request. I am trying to find information on making a structured bag. I think that there is a material used in between the the lining. 

The kind of bag I'm thinking of making are in the images below.

if I'm getting your question, you're looking for info on the stiffener inside. Tandy, SLC and others all carry a bag stiffener. It's like a waterproof cardboard and not that expensive

Go to any fabric shop an get what they call STABLE, it works great

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into those suggestions. I was wondering whether a hard firm fusible interfacing might do the job. I tied some left over hemline interfacing that did a reasonable job but I'm not sure about longevity and durability.
