Members Dakotanorth Posted February 6, 2017 Members Report Posted February 6, 2017 Hello all, I am starting to work with the Pfaff 345 I recently bought, but I can't figure out the correct manner to load the bobbin (which way does the thread wind, which side of what plates does the thread lie, etc.) I have the manual downloaded from Sewing Machine Supply LLC but it's old, blurry, messy. A lot of text is cut off. Is there another resource? Would Pfaff have a database of old manuals? Quote
Uwe Posted February 6, 2017 Report Posted February 6, 2017 I've not yet come across a better version of that manual, sorry. Many areas and will be similar to other Pfaff 145/545 machines, especially in the head portion. The Pfaff 345 hook/bobbin should be nearly identical to the ones used in the other x45 machines and use the same bobbin threading scheme. The video below shows how I thread the bobbin of my Pfaff 545. If your hook and bobbin cap looks different, please post some pictures. Quote Uwe (pronounced "OOH-vuh" ) Links: Videos
