hockeyman7lw Report post Posted February 6, 2017 I am in talks now with an animal shelter that wants to make leather dog toys. I have been looking around for information but am having problems finding anything. My concern is safety for the dogs with any chemicals used in tanning and also any other materials like thread and such. Does anybody have any experience with leather dog toys? kiwican Report post Posted February 6, 2017 I know of two people on here that have made them. Leather wytch and arrrrrrh can't remember his name. They made chew toys from veg tan and that annoying squeak thing. Hopefully they will be along soon and see this. But I don't see a problem using 100 percent neats foot oil.
