MaryBradyLeather Report post Posted February 17, 2017 I've tried searching and haven't found what I'm looking for. Can you help me? I'm having mold develop on my pieces that I'm casing inside of a ziploc bag. Should I be casing my leather projects in something else? I notice that after a couple of days mold spots begin to form. How do I clean off the mold without destroying the leather? Thanks for any and all help you can give me!
plowboy73 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 Oxalic acid will should clean it off. It is in the cleaner barkeeper's friend. Typically when I work on a project that is tooled that I can't finish the same day, I keep it in the fridge in a plastic bag. There's probably some other solutions but it works for me. MaryBradyLeather Report post Posted February 18, 2017 Thank you for responding I will try that. I have started keeping my WIP in the fridge for that very reason.
