Aww, t'weren't nuthin' :blush: ......

I just use the same size string on everything, I used the core of a bootlace. It's strong, but not corded or woven, just loose strings lying together lengthways.

I use an automotive chrome polish that comes in a tube. It's called 'Autoglym', but any chrome polish paste should work. They are all fine abrasives.

Been a few weeks now and my string is still strung! My edgers have never been sharper.

Just put another knot in it when it gets slack, to make the string a bit shorter.
