Here is some of my recent work, I have been doing some 1911 holsters. These are all hand stitched and all pieces are 7/8 HO veg tan except the throat stiffener on the mahogany colored one, that is elephant. Feel free to critique and tell me what you think. Thanks for looking! Also, in the last pic it looks like my makers marks are pretty much gone, that is just the lighting, it is clearly visible in person.P1010217_zpsha6xuwrm.jpg~originalP1011048_zpsil3lpmxv.jpg~originalP1011050_zpsyqy1cq6n.jpg~originalP1011051_zpsfb7wrkvb.jpg~originalP1011052_zpsxuiuqljl.jpg~original

First, my praise to you is that as a youth you are doing something very productive.  Your work looks better than many people who do leather all the time.  As to critiques:  Make slightly bigger stitches.  If you are going to tool, do it deeper and with crisper impressions.  Sew closer to the edge.  Sew around the belt loops, just in case.

I like to see that you are building your holsters so the user can get a FULL "combat" grip without grapping a handful of leather.  I see many experienced makers who havent figured that out yet.  good job.
