Skylark53 Report post Posted April 16, 2017 I haven't been on here in a loooong while... A year or so ago I restored my 211G 156 but I haven't used it much since. Is my mind playing tricks on me or do I remember that a larger hand wheel could be had or adapted for this machine? During the restoration, which included total repainting of the machine and table base, resurfacing the table with new Arborite and changing the clutch motor for a stepper motor, fabricating a drip pan and I even found a "Singer" decal to finish it off. My wife just tried the machine and I'm afraid that from now on I'm going to have to make appointments to use it... LOL Skylark53 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Constabulary Report post Posted April 16, 2017 A larger hand wheel often make sense but on the 211 machines you have the stitch length marked on the hand wheel so when you install a larger / different hand wheel the stitch length dial is no longer present.
