Question,  I've seen many bags with fringe and the edge is braided or whip stitched all together.  I'd like to know how this is done, so the fringe is facing front.  I did a sample of how I think it's done but need your knowledge to be sure.

So, I have the bags edge (if you will/sample) and glued the fringe in place "wrong side" to the back of the bag.  I've braided all three together.  The fringe is facing front and there are no unfinished edges - looks good....however, I'd like it to lay flater.  A bit of wear and it will hang more relaxed...what's your opinion please & thank you so much in advance.

I do a lot of edge braiding but I've never tried to incorporate fringe.  I try to help though.  Do you have any pictures of the look you want to achieve?  Also, how did you attach the fringe in this picture?
