Members AdamGadut Posted May 24, 2017 Members Report Posted May 24, 2017 has anyone tried using this Letter stamp set on soft leathers, such as goat hides, nubuck and some Chrome tanned leather? https://www.tandyleather.com/en/product/easy-to-do-stamp-set-alphabet-0-6-cm-1-4 when i tried my Branding iron on goat hide and nubuck, it didn't really hold the impression very well. Members Mattsbagger Posted May 27, 2017 Members Report Posted May 27, 2017 You can TRY heating the Tandy stamps and using in a arbor or such press. Just wrecking them probably won't work. You can get them QUITE hot with a heat gun on low so watch yourself. You can even use C clamps if you don't have a press. Quote
