Members lomfs24 Posted July 8, 2017 Members Report Posted July 8, 2017 I am doing a fire helmet shield, again, where most of it is black. However, I am doing a subdued "Thin Red Line" Flag on the shield. So most of the shield will by dyed black with a thin red line painted. I plan on using resolene on the shield as a finish. Do I finish with resolene, then paint? Do I paint then do resolene? Or do I paint over the resolene and then do a sealer of some sort over the paint? Quote
Members Bodean Posted July 8, 2017 Members Report Posted July 8, 2017 For maximum adhesion I would paint first, then resolene. Quote
