Members plinkercases Posted August 1, 2017 Members Report Posted August 1, 2017 Literally using scraps and a few seconds when ever I got to walk by my bench I mocked up a pocket sheath/organizer last night and just now to keep my knife and light sorted. I want to play with the profile of the backer (width and bottom line) to fit as cleanly in different shaped pockets and I think I will switch the knife to the "in side" or "groin side" (this is fro right hand front pocket) as it is heavier and will keep the unit from tipping outwards over time perhaps. Having the backer with flesh side out really stabilizes the unit in carry and when drawing and re-sheathing the tools. Even as a knock up job it seems to have basically solved the problem and it is very easy to get the tools in and out and the "print" from outside isn't bad at all. So I want to refine this approach. So has anyone else made something like this and can provide their lessons learned?
