pepin1948 Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I am especially impressed with that first one, the double back sheath. I would not have thought of doing it that way! Quote

I would not have thought of doing it that way! I am partial to that one as well. This guys plays a vampire hunter and wanted to be able to draw down. Here is the front view... Quote
pepin1948 Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I figured that stake set up was for a vampire hunter, but didn't realize it went on the same customer. It looks good all together, and I like the o ring in the front. Quote
Members Alex Posted September 12, 2006 Members Report Posted September 12, 2006 I saw some pictures on you site. Everything looks really unique. I love going to Ren Faires and seeing all the leather goods and talking to the people who know the craft. I've yet to go to the Faire in Tuxedo. I've been to the PA Ren Faire. Other than that, I've only gone to a couple of small ones. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one in NJ that is into leatherworking. I was starting to wonder Do you get any supplies local? I'm in East Windsor/Hightstown, exit 8 on the turnpike. Where are you? Did you see the show coming up in Pittsburgh? They have classes for leathercarving. I signed up already. I can use all the help I can get. Quote

I haven't found any good leather suppliers on the east coast, but Osborne Toole is in Harrison NJ and they allow you onsite. I was starting to wonder too if I was the only one in NJ Quote
pepin1948 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 The event in Pittsburgh is not a Ren.Faire, it's the IFOLG leather show. There's info on it around this site and also at http://www.ifolg.org/show_info.htm Quote
