Any information on the operation of a singer 42-4

G’day all at leatherworker ,  new member to this site and proud new owner of a singer 42-4 sewing machine , very keen to start learning how to use and make stuff with this wonderful old machine so I am wanting any information on where to maybe get a manual and best place for parts and supplies any advice would be appreciated

Moved to sewing machines forum.  You'll get more information there than under help wanted.  Help wanted is like the classifieds help wanted in a newspaper.

These are a great machine. The 42-5 walking foot version is more common - do not think I have seen a 42-4 in Australia.

This is a roller foot machine. Parts are a bit hard to get but I do supply bobbins.

You will be surprised just how heavy this will sew
