Is one better than the other? Do they really flatten wrinkles or stretch marks and help with stamping crispness?

They both have there place. I like a flat glass one to make large area glueing stick well all over. I only use round burnisher on edges. No one tool for every job. You can use a glass butter dish with a rounded edge as a burnisher. Check out charity shops for the like if you don't want to buy one. Idk about wrinkles but some people swear by burnishing before tooling after casing.
