vintage Osborne round end punch set

Recommended Posts

I purchased a vintage Osborne round end punch set on the 'bay (how vintage, I have no idea).

I only really need two or three of the sizes. And, I know nothing about the collectability of the set itself. So, my question is, is it ok to break up the set and sell off the other sizes? Or, is the set as a whole worth much more than the sum of its parts?

Any guidance or reference materials/sites would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Savage,

Unless these are HF Osborne (and not CS Osborne) end punches, I think the collectibility factor other than as users is not much. I am not sure that I have ever seen them sold as anything but singles. If you bought a set, the seller probably put together the set themselves. I would keep what you need and sell the rest.

Thanks for the info. This is basically what I figured and I did not buy the set as a collectible/investment. I bought it for the two or three that I actually need.

So, I'll do just as you advise and part out the rest.

BTW, does anyone know if Duey sharpens punches like this? Guess I should just drop him an email.

Thanks again.
