The fundamentals of proper leather cutting

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, as I've been peeking around the forum, I've seen that there's some confusion with regards to cutting your leather. For example, when to use an exacto knife, vs. a head knife, etc.

I think proper leather cutting is very important to your leatherwork, so I made a quick video on my YouTube Channel about the basic fundamentals: when to use what tool, as well as the use of templates to cut your leather, the use of a scratch awl, and more. So, if you are interested, you can check that out here.

As always, let me know what you guys think.
