Sling/frog hooks

I’ve got a friend that’s asked if I would try to recreate a worn out sling for an antique rifle he’s acquired. It has an old school sling with the prong hooks, and I’d like to attach some to the new sling. I bought some from buckleguy, but the website doesn’t offer much in terms of width of the rivers. I bought some rivets that were suggested through the website, but they’re way too narrow. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
