Rifle scabbards , first two leather projects

Hello everyone, Here are two of my rifle scabbards , just getting into this leather crafting, have a new respect for all you leathersmiths , this stuff is tough on the hands.

Yes, after these I made a dog collar for my red nose pit. And haven’t started anything else yet . Need to make a nice holster belt next.

I had a really good teacher my best friend Mark Koenig , he passed away recently .miss him a lot .he did pass on some great hobbies and skills though, going to keep his memory living on through my work and his next project was going to be a chess board made from leather I am currently planning that out I have to make it.
