JohnD Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Nice work, I dig the Big Daddy Roth stuff and you do it well. I read back through some posts about the razor tube air cushion, Very cool. How that idea come about? Is it just the tube with leather on top or is there some padding or "wadding" to prevent the seat from eventually looking like my wallet in high school? Also, Would you mind if I tried that? John Quote (rdb):God looked down at the world, and said "See, right there in Witchita, next to the railroad tracks, I didn't put enough dandelions".

John Thanks. The tube idea is not mine, it's an old hot rodders trick.I put the leather right over the tube but I only run a small amount of air in it.Eventually it takes the shape of the tube somewhat, but the comfort factor is way high and more than makes up for it. I use 8-9oz. leather so it holds up quite well. For some people I'll put some padding in front of the tube for aesthetic reasons but I prefer it without because the padding hits right in that "guy spot". It is mucho comfortable with the tube alone! Try it, you'll like it! The tube size in this one is 280/250-4 Quote
