I was wondering if anyone knows of any online step by step braiding,as i cant figure out how its done,tried it a few times and keep tying myslef up.

I don't know what type of braiding your looking for, but Myriam (member) has some tutorials on her website.

If you do a Google search on each one - for example "four strand round braiding" or "five strand flat braiding" you'll find a bunch.

The thing is, start with ONE. Then practice until you can do it comatose. THEN learn another etc. That way you will have a really good foundation.

You could also just buy Bruce Grant's "Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding" if you don't want to do all that typing. It would save you a lot of trouble.

Thanks for your replies,advice, and help.

Will look for Myriam tutorial and do the Googles search also.

No training for leathercraft at all in N,Ireland,so i have to find out everything through searching,but this forum is like a goldmine of information
