Members Reno36 Posted October 5, 2018 Members Report Posted October 5, 2018 Hi all, I'm building a prototype glove for a new business venture. Looking for an experienced leather glove maker to either do the fabrication or at a minimum talk particulars and educate me on some of the finer points of glove making. I have done a fair amount of research on the topic on this forum, and found some old books but it's always nice to speak with someone directly on specifics (for example: sewing techniques for attaching the fourchettes). I am located just outside Chicago if there is anybody local (but welcome suggestions, recommendations or expertise from anywhere!). Thank you, Brandon Quote

Nope, still looking for input or suggestions if you have any. In the meantime I have started cutting leather gloves myself, I am getting better but still struggling with attaching fourchettes to the sides of the glove. As I work through that I'll post questions and progress but its a much steeper learning curve than expected. Thanks, Brandon Quote
