Best Dye For Hair on Hide

I am going to attempt to dye a angora hair on hide. What's the best dye to use for that? It's white and I want to go to brown. Thanks for any help in advance.

Goat, Sheep, Rabbit, or Cat..etc ?
Lots of things get called "angora"..what works as a "dye", depends on what the animal it came from is / was..
