I may be taking a look at a Singer 211G465  . . . not sure how the '465' differs from other variants like the 211G166.

google search and forum search does not bring up too much.  Anyone here have any info on the machine?  It does not look to have a reverse lever . . .

211G465 has no reverse therefore a longer stitch length of 7.3mm max., max. foot lift 12.7mm,  large hook and an oil bath hook saddle. Thats at least how it should have left the factory. So basically the difference is the 465 has no reverse.

OK, thanks.  Stitch length and foot lift sound good.  I assume that I'd have to manually turn the piece to do any reverse stitching.

Is there any issue getting parts for the 211G's ?  The one that I am looking at may need a new walking foot. . . . not sure of the specifics, but I plan to check it out and then decide.

Singer 111 and 211 parts are easy to get. The 111 type feet are wide spread al ot of other brands like Juki, Consew, Seiko... are using the same feet. Singer 111 and 211 share a lot of parts. Most sewing machine dealers should have 111 / 211 parts and feet.
