Members DJMawer123 Posted December 9, 2019 Members Report Posted December 9, 2019 I stepped up to a juki from my 155 to get reverse. I loved my 155 but needed reverse for boat canvas. The juki had been setting for 6 years and the previous owner was a tinkerer. I finally got it stitching great on canvas at about 4.5 per inch but when i sew 2 layers of vinyl it stitches about 5 per inch. When I flip it over to top stitch the vinyl and go thru the 3 layers it jumps up to about 7 per inch. It has a aggresive serrated presser foot so I switched my feet from my 155 and then without switching the stitch length on my machine I am then getting about 7 per inch on canvas. As far as i am aware the feet are interchangable. I have messed with the presser feet pressure and cant get it to sew the longer stitch i desire with the feet off my 155. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am new to working on these machines so I am reluctant to tear into it to deeply. Thanks again. Quote
