Makes for a different effect than the more traditional approaches. I'm thinking I kind of like it. I used a ball stylus to trace the stencil onto the leather, tooled it simply, antiqued it and then dyed over the antique. And yes, I oopsed with the stitch groover on the border.. sigh...
