Googledave Report post Posted December 15, 2019 Hi all and happy holidays! I was just given a 153 B8B and it sews beautifully. I’d love to know some history on the machine and where to get parts in the event it’s ever needed. It looks very similar to the 111 series machines except with reverse and a cylinder arm. The info I’ve found online hasn’t really been informative. Any info would be really appreciated! Thanks, Dave
Constabulary Report post Posted December 15, 2019 This (to my best knowledge) is a SEIKO built but Singer branded "clone" of the Seiko CW-8B-2 which also is similar to the Consew 227R-2 . The mother of all mentioned models is the Singer 153w but this machine has no reverse. So when you look up Consew 227R-2 and Seiko CW-8B-2 you will find lot os information.
