Skiving knife sheath

I sat down with a couple of pieces of mismatched scrap to make a quick simple sheath for a new skiving knife I was given for Christmas. Sooner or later one thing led to another and I wished I had started with nicer leather. 

I applied the finish too soon after the dye so it turned a little uneven but in person I don’t mind the effect, kinda like sunlight through water which fits with the theme.
