Members SmokinP Posted September 8, 2007 Members Report Posted September 8, 2007 Does anyone read The Leatherworkers Journal magazine? Is there alot of how to information or patterns to make stuff? Just wondered if I should order a few back issues before maybe subscribing. Thanks Quote
Mike Craw Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 I'm not employed by, or related to, any body associated with the Journal, but for my money if you're seriously going to be involved in leatherwrok, you couldn't do any better than subscribing to the Journal right now. Once you get your subscription started, they have back issues that you can order to get specific articles that deal with the type of work you like to do. There are articles about all types of work, from the most basic to stuff we can only aspire to do. Mike Quote
ETW Grumpy Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Mike's right. They are a great resource to have. Each issue has a pull out pattern section for all of the projects they show. They do a lot of step by step type articles and even accept articles from readers. Really good magazine, too bad it's only bi-monthly. Quote
