Members chromecarz00 Posted May 21, 2020 Members Report Posted May 21, 2020 Hi, I bought a red leather hose that I'm trying to darken to match the rest of my setup. I've done some more research on it and it definitely appears to be chrome-tanned leather, fully finished. If I wanted to darken it by a few shades, does the olive oil/coconut oil/neatsfoot and heat/sun trick still work? I've been looking on Google for a few hours and it doesn't seem like many people work with Chrome leather, so I'm not sure what to do/where to go. Any help is appreciated! Quote
