Have been looking for my first machine (used). I have found a Singer 211U566A and a Singer 211G266. Both within driving distance but opposite directions....

I have been trying to do some research to figure out the difference between the two machines, but haven't come up with much. Is there anyone one here with experience, who could help me with the main differences of the machines?

TIA

I believe the 211U566A uses the large "U" bobbin and may be a Japanese model. The 211G266 is German made and uses the smaller "G" style bobbin. I'd go with the U model if its suitable for your projects.
