MonaJean Report post Posted June 13, 2020 Have been looking for my first machine (used). I have found a Singer 211U566A and a Singer 211G266. Both within driving distance but opposite directions.... I have been trying to do some research to figure out the difference between the two machines, but haven't come up with much. SARK9 Report post Posted June 13, 2020 (edited) I believe the 211U566A uses the large "U" bobbin and may be a Japanese model. The 211G266 is German made and uses the smaller "G" style bobbin.
