Members diamondbsupply Posted January 20, 2021 Members Report Posted January 20, 2021 I am wondering if anyone here knows how to make a color changing mecate. I would like to know how to make them change colors but I'm not sure the best way to join the paracord. Would fusing with a lighter be strong enough or does anyone know of a way to splice it? Quote
Members K5HEP Posted January 20, 2021 Members Report Posted January 20, 2021 This is the method that I have used in the past for splicing paracord it is called the "Manny" method. I have never used it with two different colors. I have only used it to splice the same color to lengthen strands while braiding paracord bullwhips. It is a pain when splicing long strands, but it is way better that trying to melt the two ends together... Quote
Members diamondbsupply Posted January 21, 2021 Author Members Report Posted January 21, 2021 Ok, thank you so much! I will have to keep searching because the paracord is 100 feet long and I need to be able to add in colors as I go. Quote
