slow/soft start for cobra class 4

Hi everybody, can you help me please. Today, somehow, I lost my slow/soft start on my sewing machine cobra class 4. Can somebody please help me to get it back or have a manual in which it says how to do that? I have the machine manual but there is nothing in it. Thank you all.
