It has two motors, the blade is run continuously off one motor, and the second motor is a servo that runs the top roller feed and the bottom feed. Works flawlessly on veg leathers. This is the correct way to set this machine up! Sergey from Sewpro knows his skivers! I used this for one project, I’m changing my work around need the room! Set up on K leg stand, standard sewing machine e top. Shop around, compare apples to apples! This a a deal at $1,950 in NH may be able to help with shipping
