Members kagekeeper Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 this is the 1st real project i have undertaken..it is not completely done yet but i thought i would go ahead and throw it out there for some opinion. it has take me over a month just to do this because i must have had 8 or 9 practice pieces of JUST the eagle head till i was somewhat confident to to put in on the plaque Quote
Members Nocturne Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 Lookin' good, man. Definitely coming along. For only having been tooling a few months, you're making some great progress. See ya at the shop! -Noc (Tom) Quote
Members kagekeeper Posted February 8, 2008 Author Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 thanks bro, now i guess i need to figure want to do on the actual notebook to fit the theme of the plaque. oh, did u ask Ur girl about those patches to my jacket? i wasn't even thinking about it when i saw u both at the shop today. cya soon Quote
Members Nocturne Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 She'll be into the shop next Thursday from about 10-2, to work on her sandals. Best thing to do would be to bring the jacket in for her to look at. If you can't make it in during that time, just leave it in the back a day or two before then, and I'll make sure she looks it over. Prolly won't be too expensive, she just wants to assess the situation. Quote
Froghunter Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Nicely done grasshoppa! I think the finished project really shows the amount of time you have put into learning and getting better! There is no BAD practice. The more you do, the better you get. now think what you can do with a few more months of practice! Keep it up!
