Well, it's officially my first custom order. I've got another one underway (a back strap for a sword) and another one ordered (a Kindle cover) so people must like it... I still see a lot of flaws, but hopefully the next one will be better. :)

In this case the design was drawn up by the customer. 'Ego Voluntas' means 'I Will' in Latin.

What's the width on that again, about 1 3/4" or so? Just trying to get a feel for how small some of that stuff is.

The cuff is approximately 9.5" by 3.5", the buckles are 5/8", the leather was cut from an unlabeled piece and I'm still getting a feel for the different weights but I believe it's in the 4 oz range.

Very nice. If I were in the market, its something I'd purchase, good detail carving IMO.

Now, for something like that you'd have to wet form it, right? What did you use for that step?

Thank you, Lavendara - I actually didn't form this one, I just cased it for carving. Once the buckles are done up it sits pretty nicely but it still lies flat when undone. At least, it did when I sent it out - it's probably got some shape to it now if it's been worn a lot.
