Saddle Bag Rockers W/ Matching Belt

Recommended Posts

I added the rockers to his saddle bags and then he wanted a matching belt to go with it. I treated the rockers with SNO-SEAL to help with it being outdoor gear. I apply it generously and use heat gun to warm up leather and pull the sealer into the leather. Does anyone else use this or what do you use?

Nice looking, like the fade. I like Aussie conditioner but have heard good things about sno-seal applied like you said.

Yep , I don't use snow seal but I use basically the same thing. It works for a while. But the client has to be responsible and do it annually or even if they see that it is starting to retain moisture.

It works good, I have tried everything through the years. The oils work the best I think, a good hardy thick as molasses leather oil seems to work the best. Then after 24 hours of soaking that in I hit it with the waxes. but still it starts to dry out and must be maintained. Don't ever sell a bag as waterproof it will only be resistant. I also tend to put in metal or fiber glass bottoms and backers in my bags to keep from sagging if possible.

BUT

THAT BAG LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD ROCK IT!!!!!!!
