DTrap Report post Posted December 15, 2013 Well I've been lurking around the site for awhile and after seeing some of the amazing stuff you guys and gals make it motivated me to get to work. I have only been working with leather for a few months now and really enjoy it. I have done a holster and knife sheath but I really enjoyed making this collar the most. My wife wanted a girly name tag for our dog to go with it so I gave that a shot as well. I inlayed (first try) some maroon alligator embossed cowhide on one side and put her name on the other. I plan on just letting it hang off the buckle but have not decide how I'm going to hang it. Let me know what you guys think. The holster was for IWB carry so I ended up putting some kydex clips on it. The knife sheath has great retention and I really like the way it came out for my first one.
