Thumb Break Question

What are you all using for the metal support that i always see on thumb breaks. that little metal strip plate.

Or if there are any other methods im open to ideas.

i use the metal clips from this supplier. you have to order minimum 500 pieces. but well worth it.

I was given some steel strapping.off a pallet. Just.cut.it.to size drill holes and attatch attatch.

I've been making my own out of 16 ga steel that I cut in 1/2" strips, then cut to the length I need , round the ends on grinder and belt sander and drill holes. Pretty easy and pretty cheap.

Ive used a few things. Kydex works pretty well too. Old bandsaw blades work fairly well.

I have used Kydex and made my own metal ones but I now buy them in bulk. I have alot in stock if you haven't found some, click below if you want to take a look.

I've made my own out of stainless steel but for the hassle it's easier to order the stainless steel ones from High Desert Leather.
