First Attempt At A Bag

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

here are some pics of a bag I just finished today. I was going for the antique, slightly distressed look. It's made with 6-7 oz leather lined with 1.5 oz alligator print. The finish is Fiebing's med. brown antique paste.

i like your bag very much.

It'svery good and looks much better than my first bag.

Could you describe, how exactly u applied the Fiebing Antique Paste? I always get grey streaks.

Greetings Jazznow

Hi Jazznow, sorry about the late reply, I was out on an 8 day fishing trip. Lots of fun.

The way I use the paste is to put it on a cloth and rub in a circular manner, with no pausing anywhere. Rub a bit less wherever you want it to be darker, or add some more paste to that area.

Hope this helps, Moe.
