The new X-4 Stormwing plane has proven to be a popular addition to the battle royale since its launch on Season 7. However, the fly in the ointment is X-4 Stormwing take no harm right after their plane is destroyed mid-air.

Following a variety of complaints from community members and Fortnite fans alike, Epic Games revealed that a major update will be added regarding player damage following an X-4 Stormwing plane is destroyed.

Eric Williamson, the Design Lead for Epic Games, revealed via Twitter that the studio has discussed adding a modest volume of harm to players when a plane is destroyed. However, the precise amount is still getting tested.

The X-4 Stormwing's arrival on Fortnite Season 7 appears to have been a well known one, although, as numerous gamers have taken to social media to post some exciting moments fighting within the sky. 

Ninja has also been taking highlights with the attack plane to new heights, as he completed an unbelievable double hijack - which Ben 'DrLupo' Lupo joked might be described as "bannable'.
