BUSM HM6 completed 20.11.12



BUSM HM6 ["Pearson6 " type]

missing parts built:

inner frame - seamless HD line pipe [20/30mm] ..pipe bender + hot forged/bent ..gas welded.

new shafts and back pedal axles/cover joiner to frame

foot lift pedal..hot bent and weld . cover braze.

lube box ..inc'v-groove bearings in track insert.

and other bits..[handle,drawer,etc]

machine: all parts die ground and/or cutback to 800 grit..usual 5 coat system [epoxy enamel]

steelwork to 1200 grit.

livery..computer drawn ,vinyl cut ..but way too perfect ..rag sanded back.

yep ..it works..may take another photo in the daytime

The Pearson looks stunning. I dont think I have ever seen it in pristine condition before! Nice work! Pity you are not in Canada or I would have you do mine!!

As someone who has a reverence for sewing equipment like myself, I can appreciate the time and work put into this beauty. Very nice job, wish I could see it in person.
