Stitching this one proved difficult, since the oil tanned leather "squished" around and moved while trying to stitch.  Apparently I need more practice!

Thats good to know about oil tan, did you stitch using a pony?

I tried to use a saddler's stitching clam for this one.  And the reality is the stitching is pretty straight, except where the perpendicular lines meet, first time I have ever done that.  It pulled the line up higher than the rest on the backside of the stitch only, due to my misalignment of the perpendicular line's starting holes - something to do different in the future...  If I lightly pull the leather, all of a sudden there is a straight pretty line of stitching.  When I put the pen in the pen lock, it pulls the line of stitching crooked.  I suspect it wouldn't matter if it was machine stitched or not.
