Trying to make a bike seat with 2 inch cushion. Outch that hurts...

Thanks Alan, since this was my first ever I only screwed a few plywood boards together I had laying around and covered the padded seat with cling foil and molded it over that.

AH..... but it is the end result that matters......and that is pretty dam good..... bet you can't buy one in a shop as good!

Again thank you Alan. I must admit it's not my favorite thing to do and in between I realized why nobody uses such thick padding on their tooled seats. It's next to impossible to mold the leather. Took me like 4 hours to do it. I'm looking forward to receive my dyes in the mail and finish this seat. It'll will remain just a showcase seat and go on for display only. Currently working on another seat that's coming along nicely.
