This holster and money belt was made to look worn/used and aged, it depicts an old western cattleman's gun rig, it was dyed in my home made coffee dye, then distressed and aged, the holster is of the California Slim Jim style, and the belt a gun money belt, nothing was done that would hurt/harm the leather, it just has the look of a well worn gun rig, that has been well kept, the copper rivets were also aged.

Thanks for taking a look see

It looks nice, but the picture is very small--any chance of you uploading a larger version?

I'll second that request. It sure does look nice though!

I love it also, but I too would like to see a larger picture or close up pictures of your work (more than one).

I also have a question as how or what you did to make your piece look "aged"?

I admire your work, TenWolves!

Since I am a mere novice I'd like to look over your shoulder while you are at work:

Which is the thickness of the leather you use for folded moneybelts?

Do you make a stitching groove?

You actually soak the different leather parts in coffee? How long so (for achieving a color like your spottet double rig which seems to shimmer between dark brown and dark blue)?

Doesn't soaking for several days affect the tooling (your tooling sure looks unaffected!)?
