msdeluca Report post Posted April 28, 2014 I am setting up a new leather shop and recently purchased a Cowboy CB3200. I upgraded the stand (Cowboy 441 stand) but found that I couldn't comfortably sit and work. I decided to redesign and relocate the pedal and move the machine support column closer to my chair. I'm very happy with the changes and can now comfortably sit at the machine with my right foot applying the gas and in a comfortable position. Hopefully this will provide a solution if you use one of these commercial stands, but would like to work from a sitting position. For now, I've eliminated the presser foot pedal, but may use a block and tackle system and pulleys later. I have the process detailed at: http://notchleather.blogspot.com/2014/04/adding-custom-pedal-and-stand.html I hope this is helpful. Mike

BDAZ Report post Posted April 28, 2014 The 3200 comes stock with a table. Maybe you should have gone that route? I prefer to stand at mine which is why I ordered the stand. Cya! Bob

Bob I know, but I didn't want the table on both sides of the machine due to space constraints.
silverbullet Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Mines the opposite I had to go up I work from a power wheelchair , I use a cane to work the pedals, will chage it to hand controls sometime tho. Maybe a lever type and use my elbows . Shoot I can even make it work by leaning on a lever . But for now the cane works. Gary
