    I will start a new thread as suggested above, I am for sure missing the little wedge that slots into the back of the stitch length clamp on the foot leg(?). However when I feed it through by hand stitches are so numerous that it basically perforated cardboard for easy tearing. May start making my own stamps!

    Hello, just signed up. anyway I have a Singer 29k62 that I picked up that is having the same problem! Did you ever find a solution?
