Hi everyone,
Newbie to this forum here : )
I wonder if anyone here has experience with the Texi brand cylinder bed machines, and with the Texi Ram C specifically. Is that a clone of some other high end machine? I have a start-up (we're established in Sweden) and I'd could use some advice on a good and reasonably priced (up to 1700 euro) machine for bag making. We are leaning towards the Texi model named above, but I cannot seem to find any reviews on it nor any information on the maximum thread thickness possible.
Also, we plan on using the Polycotton and the Unwaxed Linen threads (both of which can be used on sewing machines) from the french brand Fil au Chinois. Here's the link to where you can buy them and see the different sizes:

Does any of you have experience using these threads on sewing machines, and which sizes and kinds have you used in that case? I'm having hard times figuring out if the thickest Polycotton (0,52mm in diameter) and the thinnest unwaxed lined (0,75mm) will work for the machine above - and if not, what is the actual maximum thread diameter (in millimeters) for this machine and the ones the like?
Also, does anyone have a conversion chart for this thing in particular, the thread number in tex for example and the actual thread diameter? I have by now returned several orders with some different kinds of Fil au Chinois threads because compared to the good old Gütermann linen thread (there's only one kind, that I know of anyways, see the link below) they just seemed uncomparingly thin, despite being advertised as significantly thicker in diameter.

Do the Fil au Chinois usually run thinner than what they are supposed to be? For anyone who can help, the Gütermann linen is a good reference for the thinnest thickness considered for our bags.
Grateful for all tips and insights : )
